The third time’s the charm, right? I realized that what was happening at the beginning of my new book for Albert Whitman really isn’t part of the story. It’s background info. So it had to go. I also realized that when you tell a story from multiple viewpoints, you actually have to have a reason for doing it other than you think it’s an interesting way to tell a story. Each character has to have a REASON for chiming in on the events of this particular story. So I created a reason. And I started over. Again. We’ll see how this beginning works out…
