My Editor Extraordinaire (and yes, she reads this, so yes, I’m totally sucking up!) said she thought T.M.S. sounded kind of like a disease (you know…it kind of does!) so she was going to make a case for changing the title from The Truth About T.M.S. to The Truth About Truman.
Now, why didn’t I think of that???
It still asks a question (what is Truman?), so hopefully kids will pick the book up to find out what (or who?) Truman is…and the alliteration between Truth and Truman is WAY better than Truth and T.M.S.

Actually, I think TMS stands for “tempular mandibular joint dysfunction syndrome!” 🙂 I like The Truth about Truman, and I’m not just sucking up to your EE.
