So, my face-to-face writer’s group told me I did indeed have a climax in Truth About Truman, and they showed me where it was.

I’ve revised the manuscript up to that point now (though there’s a section in the middle I’m still not happy with…I’ll go back and rework that after I get through the climax)…

I’ve read sections on climaxes and endings in every writing reference book I own (and even some I DON’T own)…

I’ve talked with quite a few school counselors and principals (and am grateful for the time they’ve given me, especially during this busy time of year) about the situation in my story and found the common ground as to how the situation would be handled in real life, so I know I’m on the right track…

I’ve talked with my writer’s group about rewriting that section…

I’ve thought about it and sketched out my ideas on paper…

I’ve been on my bike ride (16.5 miles today), so I’ve gotten my exercise for today…

and I have the house to myself until 4:50 this afternoon, which is when I have to go pick up Junior High Kid (College Student got that internship he interviewed for a couple weeks ago), so come Hell or high water, TODAY I WRITE THE CLIMAX!!!

No more putting it off…
